Want to make a difference without actually doing anything? While being more stylish? And making a statement?

We found these awesome causes that support charities through socks. Cool socks.

Socks are the number one most requested item at homeless shelters. After hearing this fact, David Heath and Randy Goldberg had a brilliant idea: to give socks by selling socks. But not just any socks, the best socks. They researched how to create "the most comfortable socks in the history of feet." For every pair of Bombas socks you purchase, a pair is donated to one of the 300 partner organizations that distribute socks to those that need it most.

A reminder sewn inside each pair of Bombas socks.

When Mario Barrett got out of the Army and started his first internship, he noticed the abundance of crazy socks. Immediately, he wanted to create a monthly sock subscription targeted towards people like him who had always only worn black socks. He and his wife Tina started Sockwork to combine two of their passions: supporting Veterans and wearing awesome socks. Ten percent of profits are donated to a different veteran charity each month.

“Awesome Socks Monthly” through Sockwork

We’ve posted about this organization on all of our social media because we really think it’s great. Conscious step was found by “three friends that weren’t happy with the problems faced by the world today.” With each sock purchase, a percentage is donated to a cause of your choice, which including causes that “plant trees, end poverty, provide water, educate kids, treat HIV and fight hunger.” They also sell conscious collections that give to multiple charities.

Cool Socks in a Cool Box

Consider these awesome socks for Christmas presents this season to do something great in the world!
